You’ve certainly heard of a bowel cleanse before, even if you may never have done one before. But did you know that a saltwater rinse is an even simple, safe and effective way to detoxify the body and cleanse the colon from home? Sounds good, doesn’t it?
By drinking a soothing mixture of real sea salt, dissolved in water (sometimes along with some lemon juice), you help your body stimulate digestion, get rid of unnecessary intestinal ballast and release toxins.

How to clean your colon with a saltwater flush
Saltwater flushing is most effective when performed on an empty stomach in the morning. If you do it later in the day, just make sure you haven’t eaten anything in the last one to two hours.
